Kids on the moon - Baneasa Shopping City Romania

Baneasa Shopping City organized an educational event: Kids on the Moon. From September 26th until October 7th, children learned about the space and experienced astronaut sensations. The shopping center was decorated with replicas of the Solar System planets and the kids wore astronaut’s suits and found more information about space and planets from the location’s personnel. They took pictures and admire the space replicas and the photo exhibition.

The kids played interactive games, have direct access to NASA’s and ESA’s official site to discover what’s new in the space world, screening of images and multimedia contents, also real time satellite images. The event’s goal was to show in a practical and interactive way some of the steps of making a fantastic journey in space.

At the end of the tour, they were photographed wearing astronaut costumes and received a diploma and gifts.
